May 11th, ‘12 (Friday):
Whoaaa, when was the last time I posted up a daily post?! Not so “daily” anymore, keheh.
Well, today was a pretty chill day! After school, I decided to tag along with Kate (katiekuns) & Alex to go watch The Avengers! A SECOND TIME, HEHEH. We were going to go watch it in 3D, but we missed the 3:05 showing when we were on our way to pick up Hanh (hanhhsolo). So’kay though, ‘cause the 3 of us haven’t seen her since 5ever!
Movie was still amazing as the first time I saw it, hahah. Hanh was my date, and forever my mental bluetooth. We couldn’t stop shipping Captain America & Iron Man and Hawkeye & Black Widow. So glad someone else agrees with me with my shipping, HAHAHAH.
By the time Kate left the theater, Hanh, Alex, & I started talking and catching up. I then suggested us to go to my place to talk some more and man, it was really nice catching up with them both! ALEX SAID THERE WILL BE A NEXT TIME, AND I’M MAKING SURE HE’S NOT LYING.
Good day was good!
April 13th (Friday) - April 15th (Sunday): DCON.
Post-DCON syndrome? Most definitely!
To start off my Spring Break, I attended Key Club’s DCON with these wonderful people: Julie (wowjulie), Sophia (sophiaduong), Sara (saramaithao), Paula (rithh), Dayna (fromdenmark), Huy (itshuyner), Carol (mllecarole), Edison, Alex, Kim, Jonathan, Jessica, & Katheryn.
I can honestly say I grew closer to many of these people. Some, I’ve known since Elementary school (Jonathan, Sara, Paula, Alex, Carol), but some of them, I only met since I became a kiddo in middle school (Dayna, Edison) or the beginning of my freshman year (Sophia, Huy, Jessica, Katheryn). I got closer to each and every one of them and it makes me happy to know that I did. n__n They’re all a wonderful bunch.
This may be my first & last DCON, since I’m not really down to go to next year’s, knowing I paid $380 + (costumes, ride, food, etc.) and rules were incredibly strict (many girls were dress coded, counting the girls in my Key Club) and just all of that, hahah. Next year’s is also very close to home. Anaheim, ya’ know? 10 minutes away! We’ll see how things turn out next year. May be suggested to go since I’m part of the board now.
The experience was great. Made new friends, saw those I haven’t seen in ages, got in trouble a couple times with the girls, being in a hotel for the first time ever.. This and that. Funzies, hahah! It felt like the weekend flew by, though. Amazing to know I was 7hrs away from home, and now I’m sitting here, typing about my experience up at Santa Clara. From long hours of sitting in a charter bus while watching School of Rock and Lion King, from losing against Paula in a Pokemon White & Black battle, from skipping down the hotel hallways, from making new friends by carrying the Keyblade down the convention, from dancing the night away with the girls, I can name so much more. Thanks for the magnificent experience, guys. Really! D4N otters. ♥
Before blogging about yesterday’s event, I would like to dedicate a post to these two lovely followers. ♥
This is Michael (@mychaelnewyen) and Kyla Nguyen (@dearkylanguyen). Michael is from D13N monkey & Kyla is from D13S ninja. As for me, I’m a D4N otter. These two followed me about a year ago. Amazing, right?! These two actually put effort to get to know me and that’s what I love about them so much. x) I’ve seen these two at the Tet Festival held near Bolsa Grande and seeing them yesterday at Six Flags for Fall Rally was a total surprise! I’m very glad Kyla spotted me leaving Goliath, because if she didn’t, these pictures wouldn’t exist & Michael wouldn’t have known I was around, hahah!
I promise, we’ll get to ACTUALLY hang out soon, guys. I miss you two already. And your guys’ hugs. Thanks for just simply being yourselves. Really, I love you two a bunch. ♥
* (Sunday & Monday) Halloween ‘11:
Spent this Halloween with Scouts & school again. At the Halloween Scout Event, we carved pumpkins and ate Halloween-themed cupcakes! And of ‘course, I caught up with everyone since I’ve been idle. x) I also spent the night with one of my close friends, Bao! We went to Signal Hill to have heart-to-heart convos, eat at Tastea, and then Downtown Disney for an hour. We were going to watch the Halloween fireworks, but we were a tad too early, so we decided to miss out.
Yes, Halloween this year was a huge success! I’m glad I was able to use only a small amount of money this year for my costume. n__n Yellow’s my second favorite color and I love me some pokemanz, so why not, right? I would like to thank Robert (robertwashere) and Edison for being my lil’ groupie this year. :3 I provided the boys the hats and all they had to do was provide themselves with some sort of outfit, keheh. Aren’t we cute?!
Overall, a memorable Halloween, yupyup!

Guess who I went on a date with?! FINALLY! RIGHT, SL?! Hahaha. ♥ Yes, I went to Disneyland yesterday and I went with my good friend, Nicole (nicoleepham)!
I had a wonderful time with her! It was her first time seeing the Halloween decorations, going on Ghost Galaxy, and sitting on the Wet Zone for World of Color! “I can show you the world ~” is what I told her, and she agrees. ;D
It was nice catching up and having one-on-one time with you, Nicole! After us being both inactive at Scout meetings, I wasn’t sure if it was possible to see you again! But I’m glad we made plans to hang out yesterday. More to come, forsure! ♥ Happy 1 year and almost 2 months! ;D

Pika pika! Guess who I’m going to be this Halloween?
(Sunday) September 25th, 2011:
I’ve been making scary faces for my pictures, lately. Ahwell, hahah. My sister wanted to get a bit of a teaser of what it’ll feel like being in the back seat of my car when I get to drive her home from school (which will be moooonths from now, LOL). Yupyup!
So I just got home from my VERY first time driving, meaning I just finished my VERY first driving lesson. I feel all flustered, hahah. I admit, I was nervous. I tried not to show it through my face to my instructor. He’s a Vietnamese man that knows enough English to go around.
We started off driving around the neighborhood. Yeah, just from saying that I’m sure you all think I knew the streets. NOPE! It was a section of the neighborhood I’ve never explored. We also drove out to actual streets. Ugh, I was so scared when this happened, LOL. We actually traveled down streets I knew, but I felt different being around these familiar areas ‘cause I’m actually THE DRIVER. Overall, I think I did fairly well for a first timer! I mean, I drove back home in one piece!
I learned the basics of driving:
I kept saying sorry every time I made mistakes, and my instructor kept telling me that it’s okay since it’s my first time driving, but I couldn’t help it. :’( I hope he doesn’t hate me now or something, hahah!
Well, yup, I still have next weekend’s lessons. By then, I’ll know enough to actually drive. My test will be in February. I’ll be 17 then! Seems so far right now, but we all know time flies.
(Sunday) September 18th, 2011:
Guess who officially has a car now?! Haha, yup! n__n Just got Adrian a couple weeks ago. Yes, my car’s name is Adrian. It has always been a favorite male name of mine when I was a kiddo, so I decided to name my Toyota Camry that! Yes, I have a pretty old car, but a car’s a car! I love it! Starting off with a used car that has been given a new motor, repainted, and cleaned ‘till it literally squeaks, teehee! Babe and I wanted to check the inside of my car. Could use some adjustments from here to there, but that’s okay! It’s getting refurbished some more this weekend.
On Saturday, when I was at Disneyland, I decided to find something Disney-related to purchase for my car. I remembered how I always wanted fuzzy dices hanging on my rear view mirror, and lo and behold, Disneyland has them! I told Ben he should get them too once he gets his car, so we’ll match. :3 Gotta have a piece of my second home en mi carro, right? ♥
(Saturday) September 17th, 2011:
Halloween Season at Disneyland is here! Coincidentally, Ben (benpizzle), Kelly (our Disney daughter), and I made plans to go to Disneyland the day Halloween season started! It’s all of our first time seeing the park decked out for Halloween, so I was pretty excited!
We got the chance to go on Space Mountain: Ghost Galaxy - (picture of us taken on the end of the ride). By far, it is my favorite season attraction! It was packed with thrills and an awesome soundtrack. Yup, I screamed multiple times during the ride, HAHA! Before boarding the rocket, I noticed people were screaming at the end of the ride, so I was prepared for something at the end. Nope. Ending got me, LOL. The ending of the ride was actually added last year! What scared us is shown on the sign and picture. As you can see in the picture shot of us, I had an eye closed (preparing myself for the ending, HAHAH), Ben legitly screaming, and Kelly in the back about to cover her face. Wonderful, LOL.
Aaaah, we only gone on two rides this whole day, but we ended up watching Remember, Dreams Do Come True (fireworks show) and World of Color. It was Kelly’s first time seeing Remember, Dreams Do Come True, so I was excited for her! It was her second time watching World of Color also. She ended up tearing at the depressing part, just like last time, hahah! I’ve watched World of Color possibly 10 + times now, and I have never gotten teary until the 8th time(?). I guess the more I watch the water show, I cry even more at the depressing Lion King scene, hahah.
Pretty much, a very satisfying day at my second home! ♥
